The Learning Objects Showcase represents a selection of quality learning objects. These learning objects are resources developed by Information Services, Learning and Teaching in partnership with academic staff. The learning objects vary in complexity, file type and disciplinary context, providing stimulus to thinking about how Information and Communication Technologies can be integrated with your teaching.
Bachelor of Education
A Learning@Griffith organisation site accessible to all Bachelor of Education (Primary) students across 3 campuses. The site has aggregated information from a range of sources to provide a ‘one-stop-shop’ for B ED (Primary) students.
Changes Through Time
This resource was designed to give students the opportunity to explore the significant changes on our society in relation to Business, Technology and Architecture. The resource makes use of an interactive timeline and encourages students to discover events and facts that have shaped the way we live today.
jPoll
The user facing side of jPoll allows for access to question sets created by an academic or facilitator. By providing an ‘Access Code’ the user can quickly locate questions and answer them providing anoymous feedback to the academic.
LALRT
The Language and Linguistics Research Tutorial is designed to provide the student with information literacy knowledge and skills appropriate to undergraduate study in the language and linguistics.
Media Wall
Media Wall displays content that is loaded into it of type video, flash movie or images. It then creates a navigation that allow the user to move through it at their own pace, and to go back if needed.
Statistics Lab
The MVSL is a complete set of Statistical interactives including ANOVA, T-TEST, Mean/median mode, Probability, regression analysis etc used in the School of Psychology. Each interactive is designed to enable students to manipulate the values to extrapolate various statistical tests.
